PROJECT MANUFACTURING ENGINEER III
PROJECT MANAGER
Major, US based, global, multi-plant company. A leader in their field. Very strong Brand recognition. World class manufacturer with 12,000 employees.
New position as a result of growth and expansion. Reports to the Director of Engineering. Excellent visibility. Good environment for future promotion.
Large plant - 1000+ and over a half million sq ft. Low COL area. Up to $90K + excellent benefits + relo. Immediate position. EEO.
Person will be responsible for driving all projects from initial inception through to completion. Projects can include new product introduction and launch, modifications to existing product line, facility expansion, adding new lines, capital projects etc. Will assemble teams and interface with design, R&D, marketing,engineering and production team leaders. Budget responsibility.
Looking for a person with
- a 4-yr technical or engineering degree (IE or ME is desirable)
- a strong mechanical aptitude
- a minimum of 5 yrs of hands-on Project Engineering/Manager level responsibility in an industrial environment - not food, chem, pharma or high tech. 7+ years preferred
- must have a proven record in engineering leadership and project management
- desire a mindset and track record of Continuous Improvement
- a drive for manufacturing excellence
- an ability to strongly participate in concurrent product planning sessions as a manufacturing representative
- A Plus - experience with metal fabrication and assembly processes
- A Plus - PMP Certification
- Must be comfortable with small town (10K pop) life style
